About Us

At Alura Care, we are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support that enables people to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes and communities. We believe that meaningful support is built on trust, compassion, respect, and understanding each person’s individual needs.

Our service is led by extensive hands-on experience in the care sector. I began my career in care over ten years ago as a care assistant, supporting people in their homes with personal care, medication administration, and moving and handling. During this time, I developed a strong understanding of what truly makes a difference to the people receiving support — consistency, kindness, reliability, and genuine compassion.

Throughout my career, I have supported individuals living with a wide range of needs and conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, Cancer, Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Mental health conditions, and Learning disabilities. This experience has shaped my commitment to delivering support that is respectful, responsive, and tailored to each individual.

I later progressed into leadership roles within the care sector, working as both a Compliance Officer and a Registered Manager. These roles strengthened my knowledge of quality standards, safeguarding, governance, and person-centred service delivery. They also reinforced my belief that excellent support comes from combining professional standards with genuine care and empathy.

At Alura Care, we pride ourselves on delivering support to a high standard, ensuring the people we support feel valued, listened to, and supported in ways that reflect their preferences and goals. Client satisfaction, dignity, independence, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

While Alura Care currently provides non-regulated community and home support services, we are committed to continuous development and growth. As the organisation evolves, we intend to expand into regulated services in the future while maintaining the same values, quality standards, and person-centred approach that define Alura
